Welcome! I’m Tejashree Murugan, a first-year student at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), pursuing my MBA degree, after which I aim to start a career in management consulting primarily oriented towards the energy, public policy, and development sectors. This year, I interned at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Summer Associate. Prior to this, I studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), where I received a B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Biological Engineering and conducted research in the field of computational neuroscience.
Apart from my professional and academic interests, I am a writer. My poetry book ‘Science Fiction’ was published by the independent publishing house Yavanika Press in 2022. I have authored opinion articles in publications such as ThePrint, Hindustan Times, CNN-News18, The Daily Star, and The Straits Times. The topics I have written about range from the Sri Lankan economic crisis, to cryptocurrency and the Russia-Ukraine war. As such, the idea of making a difference by problem-solving for organisations and communities, taking into consideration the current socioeconomic and political context, is something that excites me greatly.
In short, I would be a great asset to have on your team! I’m always on the lookout for exciting opportunities in business and product strategizing, entrepreneurship, writing, consulting, and advocacy. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you would like to learn more about my work or collaborate.
